Annotatie: Dominic, The Virgin, Peter, Thomas, Catherine, Alibert; Print signed:'F. PHILIPPVS CINERICIVS: ANTVERPIVS'. The only known impression of this print, pasted to a fragment of an almanac produced by Jaspar de Laet for the year 1522. Cinericius was a Dominican Friar in Antwerp, also known as Philip Assche. He died as a priest in Antwerp, July 13th. 1533. Hollstein lists this print amongst the work of Master S (no. 376).

Band (annotatie): The print originales from the collection of Jean-Baptiste van der Straelen (Antwerp 1731-1801) but is not mentioned seperately in Goovaerts and Génard, Les collections Van der Straelen - Moons - Van Lerius. Catalogue raisonné, Antwerpen, 1884.
