Collection of 98 autograph signed letters sent to Félicien Rops by his friend Théodore Hannon. Many of them are beautifully illustrated by the artist and some carry the envelope with Rops' address. The others letters and documents include letters to T. Hannon from Henry Kistemaeckers (n°81) and Octave Maus (n°82), as well as a handwritten poem (n°94) and two drawings (n°15-16).
Most of the letters are about the two artists' respective works, especially two of T. Hannon's books : "Rimes de joie" (1881) and "Au pays de Manneken-Pis" (1883), for which F. Rops did etchings and drawings.
